The Stanley Building

The existing refurbished Stanley building which is a small listed building in central London (It’s one of the last examples of one of the first examples of social housing in London), was the wrapped to create a new 30,000 sq. ft. office building, offering a contemporary office space and a range of meeting venues next to King’s Cross. Studio Downie Architects worked with Wells Mackereth to create space for a range of office sizes, meeting rooms, event spaces and coworking spaces. The architects went Green, with a green roof terrace, rainwater harvesting, PV panels, CHP heating and a proper lighting strategy (sensors, low energy etc.).
